Special Announcement: Sexy Savvy Growth

There are several ways to reach and teach. Several ways to instill and empower. Among the many subtle ways I try to do so on this blog and in my life, it’s time to take it up a notch.

Starting in November, my new bi-monthly eNewsletter, Sexy Savvy Growth will make its debut. Woo hoo!

The purpose of this newsletter is to give back what’s been given to me—knowledge and growth. Opportunities for knowledge and growth are endless.

I want to share the things I’m learning, have learned, and still need to learn in a fun and meaningful way. This eNewsletter will share my personal stories, powerful resources, and awesome life strategies for obtaining sexy savvy growth. My research and resources are from experts in their fields, because I’m no expert (shocking, huh). The newsletter is brief and to the point—one page at best, no long, laborious read.

I want to be part of that whole “women empowering women” deal. And it’s a big deal. If you aren’t standing in your own power and sharing what you learn to empower others, then you have no power—or at best very limited power. I, for one, don’t want to be limited.

  1. You are far too modest my sexy, savvy friend. The newsletter is a great idea. I’ve been dragging my feet on doing one until I can get a steady rhythm to all the stuff I have going on.

Thank you again for posting that Marie Forleo video that featured the Half the Sky Movement. I’m onboard for empowering ourselves so we can empower other women, too.

  2. Roxanne, one of my 2012 goals was to start a newsletter, so happily I’ve finally put the ball in motion.

I completely understand that “dragging of the feet” thing. It’s a miracle I still have skin left on my feet from so much dragging.

Welcome aboard the Sexy Savvy train. Thank you immensely for subscribing.

  3. Sexy Savvy Growth! You know I am truly ready for that. Especially since I am turning “Fifty and Fierce!!” Feel free to use me as one of your experts. LOL!!!! Can not wait to read it.

  4. Fifty and Fierce!!! OMG, Sharon, I LOVE THAT! You can definitely pull that off. And don’t think I won’t take full advantage of your expertise and knowledge. You get the award for fabulousness today, my sista.

  5. Demetria –

I’ve seen you in a couple of other places across the blogs and have really appreciated your attitude and advice in your comments. You rock!

I don’t know if your salute to sexy and savvy includes men, but I get a sense of empowerment just from the atmosphere in here.

    Good luck on the newsletter!

    • ML Swift, welcome!!! So glad you stopped by. Whether you’re courageous or crazy, I’m truly grateful for your visit. There are a few men I know who read this blog but are afraid to leave comments. So that makes you courageous. They think its a girl’s only club, but you are most welcome to stop by anytime. We’re all courageous and crazy here.

Also, I’ve been to your site several times since discovering you on “A Thought Grows,” and I must say your prose is remarkably genuine, talented, and intriquing. I love the pieces involving your mom and alzheimers. It makes me realize how small my problems (that I whine about daily) are, compared to what others have to struggle through (including one of my best girlfriends).

It is you who rock, not me. Thanks for checking out the atmosphere here.

  6. Thanks for your words. I blush. It must be all the estrogen in here. :o)

Gender differences don’t bother me at all. Good writing is good writing, plain and simple, and I like to feast at the table with other writers who like to break the bread of creativity.

We men can learn a lot from you women…if we’d just get our heads out of our…well, you know.

I’ll visit frequently! Thanks for the welcoming words.
