Motivation Tactics

  1. Very funny. I remember that video. It is certainly a way to get motivated. The things that motivate me are the things that I feel have purpose. I need to know it is going to be worth it. Now, if I could only get that mindset when it comes to working out and improving my body. I do not know why I can’t get motivated to do that.

    • Ellen, things that have purpose is a strong motivating factor. But even then, I sometimes get lazy or in a rut and have to force myself to do things that I know have purpose. I guess it’s just our human nature to always want the easy way, especially when it comes to working out and improving our bodies. I would love to never have to go to a gym again.

  2. That video is funny. I wish I could do that to some of my co-workers:) LOL!!!!!
But what motivates me right now is my children. Being a single mother you want to be better and do better for them, but sometimes I get very tired. Then I see their smiles, and that is all I need to motivate me during my rough days.

  3. Sharon, I figured you’d appreciate that video considering some of the workplace stories I’ve heard from you.

Terry Tate would be a wonderful asset terrorizing the hallways of some of the jobs you’ve had, and on jobs I’ve had, too. I can think of several past co-workers I’d love Terry to put “a hurting” on. Oops, did I say that out loud.

  4. How funny!! That video was so Sharona. Staying healthy is my motivation these days. But man….I can’t get the sugar monkey off my back.
